Frontend Development

Interfaces that match the design — and hold up in production.

Already have designs, or a product that needs a stronger front end? We build component-based interfaces in React and Next.js that are faithful to the design, accessible, and pleasant to maintain.

The problem

Why it matters.

A design can look perfect in a mockup and still fall apart in the browser — inconsistent spacing, broken states on small screens, janky interactions, and components nobody wants to touch.

Good frontend work closes that gap. It turns a design into a system of reusable components with proper loading, empty and error states, keyboard support and responsive behaviour.

What you get

Key features.

  • 01

    Design fidelity

Spacing, typography and motion implemented carefully rather than approximately.

  • 02

    Reusable components

A consistent set of building blocks so new screens are faster to add.

  • 03

    Real-world states

Loading, empty, error and edge cases handled — not just the happy path.

  • 04

    Accessible by habit

Semantic HTML, visible focus, labelled controls and keyboard-operable interactions.

Fit

Who it's for.

  • Teams with designs ready to be built
  • Products whose interface has outgrown quick fixes
  • Agencies and designers who need a development partner
  • Founders building a web app's user-facing layer

Deliverables

Typically included.

  • Component library built from your designs
  • Responsive layouts and interaction states
  • API integration on the client side
  • Accessibility basics: semantics, focus, keyboard support
  • Typed, documented code in your repository

Exact deliverables are confirmed in each project's scope.

Workflow

How it comes together.

  1. Step 1

    Review

Walk through designs, existing code and API contracts.

  2. Step 2

    Foundations

Design tokens, layout primitives and core components.

  3. Step 3

    Screens

Build pages and flows, integrating data as it becomes available.

  4. Step 4

    Polish & QA

Responsive checks, interaction details and cross-browser testing.

FAQ

Common questions.

More answers on the FAQ page.

Can you work from Figma files?

Yes. Figma designs are the most common starting point for frontend work.

Can you work inside our existing codebase?

Yes, after reviewing it. We'll follow your conventions and flag anything that would make the work significantly slower or riskier.

Do you also build the backend?

If you need it, yes — see Full-Stack Development. Frontend-only engagements are also fine.
