Overview
The goal.
Put the most common health and fitness calculations in one simple app, alongside lightweight trackers for water intake and weight.
A production Android app that helps people understand and track their health and fitness goals with a set of calculators and trackers. Published on Google Play with Google AdMob monetisation.
Approach
Design & development.
- 01Organised the app around a home screen of calculator tiles so each tool is reachable in a single tap.
- 02Grouped related calculators — energy (BMI, BMR, TDEE), body composition (body fat, lean mass, ideal weight) and nutrition (protein, macros, water).
- 03Added a water reminder and a weight tracker for day-to-day use beyond one-off calculations.
- 04Built with React Native and Expo, with a Node.js, Express and MongoDB backend, and released through Google Play Console.
